We are looking for an exceptional translator fluent in English, Afaan Oromo, and Amharic to translate, proofread, review, and localize content across Trinity platforms.

Responsibilities
- Translate content accurately between English, Afaan Oromo, and Amharic.
- Review and proofread translations for accuracy, grammar, consistency, and readability.
- Translate mobile app content, website content, notifications, educational materials, devotionals, prayers, and marketing materials.
- Maintain consistency in terminology and style across all Trinity products.
- Adapt content for cultural relevance and natural language usage.
- Collaborate with content, product, and leadership teams.
- Meet aggressive project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Handle large translation volumes when required.
- Participate in quality assurance and content review processes.
Required Qualifications
Language
- Native or near-native proficiency in Afaan Oromo.
- Professional proficiency in Amharic.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Excellent written communication skills in all three languages.
- Ability to translate naturally while preserving meaning and context.
Technical
- Strong computer literacy.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, email, and collaboration tools.
- Fast typing skills in Afaan Oromo, Amharic, and English.
- Ability to work efficiently in digital environments.
Professional
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to perform well in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work extended hours when project deadlines require it.
- Strong work ethic and accountability.
- Reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous professional translation experience.
- Experience translating Christian, church, educational, or Bible-related content.
- Experience with multilingual content localization.
- Experience translating websites, mobile applications, or digital platforms.
- Experience working in fast-paced startup environments.
